Additional unlawful migrants from Myanmar arrested
KANCHANABURI: 30-four Myanmar nationals had been detained in two independent functions soon after they illegally crossed the border into Thailand in Muang district of this western province on Tuesday.
A combined group of soldiers, police and neighborhood officers deployed to the border spotted a group of 19 persons, all guys, hiding in a forested place at Huai Nam Khao village Moo 15 in tambon Ban Kao on Tuesday immediately after getting details that illegal migrants would sneak throughout the border by natural border crossings close by.
All ended up Myanmar nationals and had no entry files. They were being arrested.
Later, the identical staff detained a further team of 15 unlawful border crossers from Myanmar. The group – 10 adult males and 5 lady – were noticed in the exact same village at around 1.10pm, reported the arresting team.
Members of equally teams of detainees told authorities they had paid 19,000-25,000 baht each individual to brokers for careers in Chon Buri, Samut Sakhon, Samut Prakan and Chachoengsao provinces.
