Theeraphong Phetteep, 52, alias kamnan Tum, from Pa Bon district of Phatthalung, was one particular of 12 suspects caught during police raids on 8 destinations in Phatthalung and Songkhla provinces this 7 days in connection with unique scenarios, deputy nationwide police chief Pol Gen Roy Inkhaphairoj mentioned on Friday.
Theeraphong was wanted for a string of crimes, like murder, robbery and falsifying files. He had been sentenced to lifestyle imprisonment, but jumped bail whilst awaiting an appeal. It is not but identified how he has put in the past 16 yrs.
He was apprehended in tambon Wang Mai of Pa Bon district by a put together workforce of police commandos and area officers.
In 2005, Theeraphong, then the kamnan of Pa Bon district, and nine other accomplices, had plotted a system to rob a truck loaded with rubber sheets. Wearing law enforcement uniforms, they set up a street checkpoint to end the truck. They shot useless the truck driver and two other individuals on board and manufactured off with the rubber sheets.

Throughout the operations carried out this week, police claimed they seized 43 weapons, 237 rounds of ammunition, 42 autos and motorcycles and some crystal methamphetamine.
